Bearwood House is a half-timbered property in a truly idyllic rural setting. Endless entertainment is provided. In the floodlit sunken garden there is a huge luxury outdoor hot tub for 8 people which is perfect for relaxing in even on the coldest of winter's evenings. The games room contains a pool table, table tennis table and darts board.  Six adult Bicycles, two tandem bicycles, croquet, badminton, boules and many other garden games are provided. There is a PlayStation 2, Wii, Bose iPod docking station, a good selection of board games and DVDs and tennis is available at the owners' house nearby. For those wishing to go further afield it is the perfect base for exploring the wonderful countryside, villages and towns of Herefordshire and the Welsh Marches.

The house is set in beautiful grounds of more than an acre with an arboretum, sunken garden and loggia. The 15c New Inn, post office, delicatessen and farm shop are a mile away in the picturesque "black and white" village of Pembridge. The Michelin-starred Stagg Inn is within 15 minutes' drive and markets towns of Ludlow (with a further Michelin-starred restaurant) and Hay-on-Wye are within 25 minutes' drive. Golf at England's highest golf course and flying lessons are nearby. Numerous other outdoor pursuits can easily be arranged. The house is fully equipped and stocked with all the ususal household essentials. All linen and towels are provided along with a welcome hamper. We'll also provide ready made meals for you when you arrive - just ask.
