Bearwood Cottage is a beautiful half-timbered property in a gorgeous rural setting. It lies in the grounds of Bearwood House but is completely separate with it's own drive and garden. It is the ideal base for exploring the wonderful countryside, villages and towns of Herefordshire and the Welsh Marches. It's also perfectly placed for some amazing festivals, including the world renowned Hay Festival.

The 15c New Inn, post office, delicatessen and farm shop are a mile away in the picturesque "black and white" village of Pembridge. The Michelin-started Stagg Inn is within 15 minutes' drive and markets towns of Ludlow (with a further Michelin-starred restaurant) and Hay-on-Wye are within 25 minutes' drive. Tennis is available at the owner's house and there is golf at England's highest golf course and flying lessons nearby. Numerous other outdoor pursuits can easily be arranged. The cottage is fully equipped and stocked with all the usual household essentials. All linen and towels are provided along with a welcome hamper. We'll also provide ready prepared meals for you for when you arrive - just ask.
